MARGUISA was founded in 1990 with the name of Mares de Guinea (abbreviated MARGUISA) offering regular sailings from Spain to Equatorial Guinea and returning mainly logs and sawn timber.
Today, MARGUISA SHIPPING LINES is the Spanish leader international containership line and part of a Holding Group called Sea & Ports and offers regular services covering trades between Mediterranean Sea, North Continent, South America, Asia, Middle East and East Med to the main destinations of West Africa, leading carrier to and from Equatorial Guinea. More than 30 years connecting Mediterranean ports with West African ports providing a wide range of maritime services than may accommodate all kind of cargoes, using full container regular weekly services, RoRo monthly service and finally MPV monthly services for project cargoes in West Africa.
