Algeciras Bay Port, the economic driving force in the Campo de Gibraltar district, has the full support of the COMPORT Promotion Association that was created at the end of 1999 to encourage the development of the activities of all those working in the port and at sea.<\/p>\n
The Association brings together all sectors related to maritime and port-based activities and its main purpose is to foster these through the organization of promotion and marketing of the Port\u2019s activities in close collaboration with the Algeciras Bay Port Authority.<\/p>\n
Since the creation of the Port Community, the port\u2019s infrastructures and services are promoted jointly. This alliance contributes to the projection of a positive image at a variety of commercial fora by offering a 360o view of what\u2019s on offer at Algeciras Bay.<\/p>\n
COMPORT currently has more than 150 members ranging from companies, institutions and business associations, and fulfils its purpose by attending trade fairs, conferences and other national and international fora to promote the port\u2019s infrastructures and new developments, as well as the services provided by its companies.<\/p>\n
